Functions at Hoppers Club for up to 180 including beverage package 1

The Hoppers Club is situated only 25 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD.  With state of the art function facilities with the capacity to seat up to 180 guests, the Hoppers Club is the perfect setting for all your special event & function needs.  All functions include exclusive use of our beautiful John Belani Room for a five hour duration, with the following included in the $300 hire fee:

– Your personal bar staffed for 4.75 hours

– A state of the art sound system, professional lighting and dance floor, to have your guests dancing all night

– A multi screen information system comprised of a projection screen and plasma televisions to perfectly showcase your presentations

– Crisp white table linen and white napkins

– Dedicated security (for events up to 120 guests)

In addition to the John Belani Room, the Club boasts a fully functional Board Room with seating for up to 20 delegates, and all the latest technological aids. Please see our Functions manager for more details. 

Please note the minimum guest requirement is 80 for any event. The Club does not host teenage Birthday Parties (including 18th and 19th Birthdays). Minors are permitted to remain on the premises for the duration of the event, only if they are in the John Belani Room and under supervision of a responsible adult.

General Info 1

Tentative bookings will be held for a period of seven days. After this time receipt of signed Terms & Conditions and a bond of $500 are required to secure the reservation.  While Members may be entitled to discounts and special offers, no discount will be given on any food or beverage packages.  Any event held on a Sunday will incur an additional surcharge of 10%, and events held on or the evening prior to a Public Holiday w ill incur a 20% surcharge on all food packages.

Liquor Licensing laws require all functions and events to be held by members only. If you are not a member an additional fee of $35 will be charged to cover application costs for a special license.  While security is included in every package as a part of the hire fee, 21st birthdays and events over 120 guests will incur an additional surcharge of $150.  Evening events are for a duration of five hours with the latest possible finishing time 12:30am. If you wish to extend your function you will charged at $200 per hour (this amount is not subject to any discount).  All persons over the age of 18 years are required to carry, and produce on request, photographic identification deemed appropriate by Liquor Licensing Victoria. Any person not in the possession of legal identification may not be granted access to the venue, unless they are accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
