On behalf of the Committee and Members of the Hoppers Club Vietnam Veteran’s Sub-Club and VVAA Melbourne West Sub-Branch I would like to welcome you to our website. The role of our organisation is to care for the welfare and well-being of our fellow veterans. Originally we were formed to care for Vietnam Veterans and their dependants but in recent times this has been broadened to any veteran and/or their dependants. This includes the younger or contemporary veterans of Australia’s more recent conflicts.

The motto of the Vietnam Veterans’ Association is “Honour the dead but fight like hell for the living”. Our trained volunteers provide pension and welfare services Monday – Wednesday at Bay West Veterans Centre 96 Railway Street Altona 3018 ( next door to Altona RSL.) If you’d like to meet with one of our Pension Officers to assist you in obtaining your military compensation entitlements or one of our Welfare Officers should you wish to discuss any problems you are experiencing please telephone 9398 2865 to make an appointment.

We also provide a drop in centre each Wednesday at Central Park Community Centre where veterans can just call in for a chat and BBQ lunch with fellow veterans.
